for now on we only accept trials with players with PhD....just kidding I'm totally agree with you!No one is trying to trash on new people, they’re new and they’re learning and they’re trying their best.
But there’s people out here with all classes at 80, full item level 530 gear and can’t be darned to use a tank cd. I know this isn’t true, but sometimes I feel like that’s who the devs are catering towards.
I don’t want classes to need 300 IQ to pilot, but don’t act like I got 1 IQ. That’s not asking for a lot, at least I don’t think it is.
It legit feels like they have run out of ideas and need some fresh blood on the team. They could always rip off WoW I guess. Sage looks like Disc, they could still do a melee healer or shape shifter or something. Just seems like they have hit their limit creatively.
Casual players are no longer 'time' orientated but those devoid of intellect. A stark difference from the original meaning and they are a blight on the game. There is no compromise between those who enjoy a challenge and those barely intelligent enough to manage the joke that SCH is now. Stop beating around the bush.

The moment they give healers two or three more buttons, the complaints will start about how we are supposed to be healing and focusing on that...

That doesn't make it true though. What is true is that no one wants to push one button over and over again. How is that fun and interactive?

Pretty sure those complaints already happen now. Adding them does not change that crowd. People who refuse to DPS and be bad at the game will still refuse to DPS and be bad at the game no matter how many options you give them to do more. This isn't for that crowd. Healing is the one role where the devs can choose to do more and have a more involved DPS rotation and have it NOT effect the baseline. The floor of the job is already there. Use your heals and don't let your party die. Adding more DPS spells doesnt hurt this. It just makes the players who actually give a damn and try not to be a drag on others have something more fun to do.

There is already pressure on healers to obsess over DPS'ing, there is literally cutscenes in the story telling people to DPS, and those players have ignored it all for years. So again, adding more tools to DPS changes nothing for them. They will keep doing their thing, they don't want to DPS and that's cool, let the players who want to only heal remove every DPS spell from their hotbar. Healers deserve more engaging gameplay.

Healers are pressured to DPS more now than they ever were before due to them having nothing else to focus on. Their job's complete lack of complexity combined with low healing requirements is precisely why a Healer's worth is so heavily slanted towards their DPS contribution than their healing.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."

As long as there is no opener for them or complex rotation then they are fineHealers are pressured to DPS more now than they ever were before due to them having nothing else to focus on.
