There is no chance that other players can tell whether you use some specific addons or not. So gatekeeping in high end content cannot occur here.

We will see when I get there, and I will. One of the big appeals to me when starting this game 4 months ago was not having to worry about third party addons and console play. It was like a breath of fresh air. Only to realize those things are still an issue apparently, even though they officially aren't as long as we *wink wink nudge nudge* But the flaunting of it by some streamers, particularly high end raid streamers that have come from WoW is disturbing. I just wish they would take a hard stance one way or another and be done with it and I feel all the recent flaunting if going to bring it to a head that it hasn't in the past.
