Going in blind kicking

So, just ran the new 6.1 alliance raid, and was promptly kicked for not knowing mechs on the last boss where you need to stack to avoid wipe(which i learned when we died) as i prefer going in blind than watch a YT video and spoil the bosses before i see them in-game. If a mechanic is like that, than why not take a minute and explain if a mechanic is crucial where you stand.

Some people get pissed if you explain a mechanic without anyone asking.

Some people also get pissed if you don't explain a mechanic when nobody asked.

If a mechanic is like that, than why not take a minute and explain if a mechanic is crucial where you stand.

(Generally on blind runs I do them with people also doing it blind, or willing to accept blind runners. It's not nice to make random others work harder for one's own sake.)

Did you ask before the start? "Hi, first time, any mechanics that can wipe us?"

At worst you will be kicked immediately and not waste your or other's time.

Weird that we've reached a point where people just get kicked for being new. Worse, people think it's normal to kick others if they say they're new.

Nothing in the game states you have to know anything in advance. If you queue via duty finder, you get whoever you get. If you're so fragile that you have to start kicking people after one wipe, don't use DF.

Also, if someone kicks you because you didn't know a mechanic, report them. If you're not sure who initiated it, just give as much info as you can about the event and the GMs can figure it out from there.

What is weird to me is how people see everyone run to the other side and think...yeah...lets stay here! Every group i ran with on patchday got it right. Every single group. Ofc kicking you after one wipe is awful, shouldn't happen and if that happens again just report it cause it is definitely against the ToS. But really, the mechanic isn't that hard...like at all.

That's an abuse of the kick function. You should report that to a GM.

I really doubt that in a Raid 24 you don't have a Mentor in there.

Honestly, you just encountered some toxic player unable to accept what a "Fail" is. But I don't remember A mecanics on this one where you have to stack and if "One people" isn't there, it make a wype... You refer probably to the balance mecanic, but that isn't a "one person fault". Kicking you out of the team for this is really an abusive behavior and must be reported.

I've ran that at least once a week since it was added. (Actual number varies on how many runs it takes to get the drop I want.). I can't think of a single stack mechanic that results in a wipe if 1 person doesn't stack. So if a mechanic like that failed and resulted in a wipe it was because a number of ppl didn't do it. If you got vote-kicked afterwards it's likely because you had a party made up mostly of elitists since it takes a majority vote for the kick to happen. There's also a possibility 1 or more of them might have been running a parser and singled you out for low DPS output since it probably wasn't optimal if you were running blind focusing on catching mechanic markers.

The thing is we don't know what OP really did. There are only two possible scenarios which could lead to a wipe that would result in them being vote kicked from the raid, either they were the only person standing on the other side while literally EVERY SINGLE OTHER PERSON is standing on the different side. Or they were running between each side when the mobs were not on every side and didn't stood still.

Either way it is not really that hard to either stand still to let the experienced players balance the stuff out or well...go where like...literally everyone else is standing. If every single player is standing somewhere over there some might come to the conclusion that standing there would be beneficial for their and the raids health. Even without having knowledge about the mechanics.
