MSQ cutscenes - Allow vote to skip if there are no first time/new players

The change to the MSQ was only made much later into the game, and yes I am aware of the situation back then.

People here are trying to argue the rewards are based strictly on the cutscenes when its actually more specific to the new player experience to engage in the boss fights that ensues after them.

Since the cutscenes are strictly designed with new players in mind, if there arent any, then why enforce with no options to all vets to watch the cutscenes.

IIRC the rewards were increased when the cutscenes were made unskippable, and then a little bit later they were increased again because the first bribe increase was not large enough to get people to run the MSQ roulette with unskippable cutscenes on a regular basis.

The developers cannot easily make the cutscenes unskippable only in some cases, so therefore they are made unskippable in all cases.

tbh you can literally just afk throughout prat.

Tag the first monsters that are never killed, teleport. You're in combat for the rest of the dungeon. Maybe someone goes back there to kill them using [Return] but eh you can't get reported for being afk.

And if it's not prat you can just leave.

vets only run the place for the rewards.

if the rewards arent there why would you go there. period. so skipping the scenes is kind of moot at that point.

People who do that are just infuriating. Luckily, I’ve only come across two players like that during MSQ and had no issues with vote kicking them.

Yeah I'm with you on that for most things. You can do prat with 2-3 people, haven't tested it with 1 person before. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

It's only Prae, sure, but how you choose to handle yourself in that type of a situation does say quite a lot. I'm perfectly OK hating a lazy player, don't you worry.

Imagine being the one new person in MSQ roulette, in a group of 7 other vets who now hate and resent you for being the sole cause of wasting their time with a bunch of long cutscenes. If they don't kick you immediately, or leave to try their luck with different group, they might just be rude to you or go AFK at the entrance until you give up and leave.

You can't give people like this even an inch. If there is any slim possibility of abusing the system or getting a group that will let you skip the cutscenes, they will find it. Apparently, there are people now who force-quit their client so they can log back in, load into the room, and proceed to kill the boss while others are still in a cutscene.

Not sure how you derived anything off of a situation you assume I'm a part of.
If I catch someone afking in one of my prat ones of course I'll accept a kick if it comes across my screen but I'm not delusional in not understanding that it really doesn't matter if they're afk or not.
Also I don't do msq roulette and you won't catch me in one of those dungeons even if I get it from mentor roulette.
Not mention you shouldn't use subjective terms like lazy because I could very easily say that everyone who doesn't log off to skip the cutscenes are "lazy".
