    MSQ cutscenes - Allow vote to skip if there are no first time/new players

    While I don't mind it being unskippable for any new players who want to enjoy the story, if everyone has already completed it (and watched the cutscene) once, it only really serves to further increase the amount of time it takes to do MSQ roulette.

    It seems like a good middle ground, I'm sure a few people would still grumble over having to wait on new players, but I'd think most people wouldn't mind given that whenever they don't have any new players they can now skip. Because right now, its a massive pain point.

    The code is already there to check if there are any new players, any you have the ready check system to use to skip on a unanimous vote. Prototyping this wouldn't take more than an hour for whoever gets the ticket.

    Am I the only one liking these cutscene breaks because I can do some housekeeping chores when the video is playing? It is a good way to relax after dinner before I start questing.

    Why should they grumble? They can just kick the new player.

    As others have said: The rewards for that roulette are so good because of the long cutscenes. Skipping them and the rewards should be lost.

    Just don't run the roulette. Spend your time better by running 2 normal dungeons instead.

    People would mass quit if they realize there's a new player. I can see why that's not an option.

    Making cutscenes unskippable was a way to help newbies enjoy the dungeon and watch the story. Giving people a reason to quit would just bring a new problem worse than the previous one.

    (And for the record, I try avoiding that roulette like a plague).
