I do not think anyone has said minors are the only ones initiating the contact. What many have said was minors have been known to lie about their age.

End of the day suggestion still stands report it.

That would make it a problem.

A problem for the kids that are lying about their age. Sorry I do not feel much sympathy for a minor that willfully misleads an adult over the internet then cries foul if / when they get caught. That is a problem for the parents, not the community. I fail to see how getting rid of the mods will alter any of this, ERP will still happen, NSFW mods will always exist, it seem people are mostly upset because it has slightly been brought out into the public, but one would have to live under a rock very deep under the earth's crust to not know of the existence of such things within an MMO.

People being approached and w/o consent are being ERPed with. If you aren't going to be serious, just leave the thread.

Also, it's still the adult's fault even if a teen is willing. People still push even when they know it is a teen, because the teens tells them. The groomer meme exists in this game for a reason.

Just leave the thread until you are willing actually be honest about this and stop pretending this is all the teens.

If an adult pushes when they know it is a minor once again report, if someone approaches you for ERP and you do not like that sort of thing report. I am sorry I have already said adults that willfully interact with minors knowing they are minors are a problem and that is when you use the report feature and depending on the degree possibly report it to your local authorities.

What I am saying things are already put into place to combat such things, though just like many of our laws they are reactive not proactive. If people want a more proactive solution that solely is placed on the individual or in some cases the parents.

Tbh you should stop putting this all on the adults in terms on online interactions if a minor does lie to an adult and the adult can prove such then in most places legal action will not be taken against the adult when it comes to online interactions, cause the intent was not to interact with a minor. They were operating under the grounds that the person in question was an adult.

In the end what do you honestly expect anyone to do that would fully proactively protect people from NSFW content and ERP propositions?

Outside of having someone monitor the minor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year with 366 on leap years nothing can be done to fully proactively protect people from that type of online content other than going someplace where the internet doesn't exist. Sounds like you're still dealing with people that want everyone else to essentially raise their child for them. This IMO stems from the spreading of people that don't want responsibility the moment it becomes inconvenient and don't follow rules, laws, regulations if they find it inconvenient unless they think they'll get caught an punished. And even then if the punishment isn't severe enough they'll do it anyway.

Some food for thought. The more effort someone puts into trying to hide things from someone the more curious that person is going to get about the thing you're trying to keep from them. This effect is even stronger in children as they tend to be curious in general. As such it would probably be better overall if parents were just upfront with their children and simply made sure to properly explain these things so they're understood instead of just trying to hide things from them or cover them up with ridiculous made up stories. Most children are far smarter than people give them credit for and will understand how to handle even things like NSFW and ERP activities encountered online if someone actually takes the time to provide that knowledge to them instead of trying to distract them with whatever brain melting activity is popular at the time in their age demographic so they stay quiet and out of the way.

That is the thing many here to expect the community to be responsible for their children. It is unfortunate but many do use video games as a form of baby sitter.
