Because I grew up hunting and going to gunshows, and have a lot of first hand experience around the reality of this issue. Out of all the CCW holders I know, only one of them actually has anything reasonable to say about why they got liscensed. Most of it just pure powerfantasy cringe, with half of them convinced they're literally cowboys. My neighbor essentially just sticks as many guns to himself as possible, despite being obese and disabled. I'm pretty sure his wife has to put his ankle-holster on for him, and I legitimately have no idea how he would ever be able to get that weapon into service lmao.

Let's put it this way;

Do you want a single pulling duty-finder tank carrying a firearm IRL? How about your average walmart karen?

I'm not entirely against something like concealed carry, but the reality is that there are very few people with the presence of mind and emotional maturity to actually handle that responsibility. Mass-arming the population to somehow deter crime is fantasy; Most Americans shouldn't be allowed within 100 feet of a firearm.

My experience is much different, almost every firearm owner I know is knowledgeable about what they carry and why. Most are indeed hobbyist, and most are hunters. Tis a rural area in which I live. You are welcome to your opinion, as I am mine. Furthermore, you are sounding very much like a "I own guns, but I am not one of the those filthy gunowners!" with those closing statements.

That tends to happen when you rage bait a mob with alarmist fear mongering. You don't get to decide where the train stops.

Best thing you could probably do is report your own thread; it might be the only way to get someone to take a look at it and decide from there if the topic is worth keeping open.

Thread was doomed the moment you started off with NSFW to be honest. For better or worse, the mere mention of NSFW mods brings out some strong personalities on both sides of the forum community, each with their own arguments and beliefs.

Mentioning the twins, Ryne, and Lalafells in the same breath as NSFW mods just added fuel to the trash fire.

Some things I just want to address here

-Sexualization of characters: The sexualization of FF characters is not exclusive to FF14 most of the single player ones suffer from it greatly. The ones on PC like FF13 have mods that sexualize the characters. There is also a ton of Fan art and animations that take it to a level the games don't. Non of this stuff is hard to find and the mods for the single player pc versions are easier to find and install then the FF14 ones.

-Minors: As a parent I will say this Childern especially teenagers are smart and resourceful. Never think that a kid cant outwit an adult, if they are determined to keep something from you. Then they will most likely succeed as long as they keep their wits about them. That applies to the questionable things that happen in this game, not all minors engaging in it are stumbling into it. They are actively and willing seeking it out themselves without their parents knowledge. The best adults with kids who play online can do is prepare them for what they may encounter and how to respond.

-Age of consent: The Age of consent is not the same in every country. Nor is it the same for Male and Female when it comes to middle eastern countries. 18+ is just used as general safety net no matter what country the developer resides in.

this pretty much a silly issue, UNLESS you yourself hunting for that lewd stuff i've almost NEVER ever come across lewd ffxiv thru normal means, the discords and forums places are pretty much low key. reverse the bans and compensate the users affected.

i kind of agree, but it doesn‘t always seem to work like that.

Change the data, don’t let them do this’, so I ask you to please refrain from using mods.

it becomes a problem when even devs come across that stuff and have to comment on it.
