I am not glamour, the word is icky. We transmog, that is what we call it, and what i will always call it.

written like a true WoW player.
figured I should edit this so you dont get insulted. All I am saying and meaning is, this is a new game to you. There will be many unfamiliar things and terms, just because they are not your WoW terms does not make them better, or worse, just means they are different. Trying new things is good, helps you understand what you like or dislike in a game. We were all new here at some point, so while many may not display that well, we do understand that change can be frightening. All you can do, is to embrace it and try to have a good attitude when you meet others. No one will laugh at you in game if you slip up and call it a transmog, though, its likely they may not know what you are talking about. If you can patiently explain that to them, it will go a long way
In the end, whether you decide to stay or go, hopefully you manage to enjoy some aspect of the game.

I mean you can call it what you want in your head but WoW wasn't the first with that idea. EQII had an appearance slot long before WoW had any sort of appearance-changing ability. But I call it glamour here because that's the term for this game.
As to the OP, I imagine the hobo look they'd see on people if they turned glams off would probably break their sense of immersion, too.
