Yeah if its a B rate comedy horror, which there are a lot tbh. Doesn't even have to be a comedy horror just about 90% of B rate horrors are pretty stupid so I guess I can agree to extent it can be pretty comical if we're talking about the dumb ones, but I don't know about cheering on the killer lol.

Think it depends but as an example Halloween movies I do cheer for on Michael, or movies like No Country for Old Men had me on the side of the killer. More modern example Don't Breath 1 and 2 I was in favor of killer, or Jigsaw. Think it has less to do with the edge and more so with how well the character is portrayed.
