Very true. It would be very entertaining to read. Imagine it. People call for the removal of "nsfw" mods and SE in turn finally decides to ban ALL modding with enforcement. It would truly be glorious. The amount of blacklash that would inevitably spread across the forums and twitter would be beyond entertaining to read.
As for me, I don't involve myself with the RP community, I'm apathetic toward the modders and I'm a bit 'meh' about raiding at the moment.
Of course, I'm starting to transition toward playing Gw2 more until Endwalkers and female Hrothgars drop - so I'm a bit more dethatched at this point.

And I shall weep that my character will never have the long flowing locks I dream him to have...

I dont care about other people, as long nobody gets hurt. I m just minding my own business and so do others.
In my opinion, NSFW mods are not different than lewd fanart. Both may take a lot of time and talent to finish. ERP is not very different, it just misses the visuals.
I dunno, I wouldnt make a big deal about polygons.
But to be honest, I would totally love if SE would make some additions or changes in the character creation. You can barely create a ugly character, because of the limitations. But it would be nice to stand out a bit more by having additional options.

And that'd be week-long period before people find another way to do it.
They did that in WoW, they could do that here as well.
You are missing the point. If SE actually decided to ban all modding they would. There are mmo's that scan your files when you launch the game to detect abnormalities. You can't start the game if anything is detected.

When people really want to, they could bypass or trick that scan.
You can't win that battle.

You really are adamant on having spyware scanning our games, aren't you? Might as well punish people who use Discord's overlay, NVIDIA GeForce Experience and ReShade/GSHADE while we're at it.
