Who is your least favorite major character and why?

That Lalafel that always hung around Lyse when she was pretending to be her own sister. I couldn't stand him. His death gave me the feels and that was such a wonderfully noble sacrifice, but up until then, I did not enjoy his cut-scenes.

I was gonna say Papalymo, because on his own he was annoying. Buuuuut when paired with Yda (Lyse), the two actually had entertaining chemistry. Probably explains why Lyse isn't that exciting of a character on her own now that he's gone.

Character I love to hate: Zenos. Hate his guts but like him as a character. What happens if you take a genetically modified asshole super soldier, and raise him as a sociopath unable to feel any emotion unless he's about to get killed? Zenos, Zenos is what happens.

Character I want deleted from the game because I just don't like them and think the story would be unchanged without them: Kan-e-senna. I've never seen any indication she's earned her position, and you could replace her with a flowerpot because no decision she's ever made for Gridania had any kind of lasting impact.

You still haven't addressed the fact he wouldn't have done any of that if it were not for us. I also didn't defend the other leaders as I agree they are just as bad. Him risking his ( the NPC ) means nothing to me when the victims he's sold into the sex trade are STILL being used btw. So yeah.. no he didn't repent for anything. He did NOTHING to help those victims who are either dead or sold off somewhere. He was just feeling guilty for his past crimes. Tho if it were me he'll be in JAIL. The fact that Hien didn't even mention that speaks volumes.

Again, no one would have done anything were it not for us that literally isn’t an argument. We’re the mc. Also, that was years ago. How is that man supposed to even know where to begin to find those victims? He was attempting to repent in the only way he seemed to know how. I mean, for all we know it’s legal in the game world. Messed up? Sure, but so are many other things. Why would Hien do anything. It’s something that happened years ago and the man was a soldier. What’s he supposed to do? Tell him he’s not allowed to fight for his country and he has to go to jail for something that’s legal and happened years ago? He did repent, you may not see it that way but…oh well lmao. At least he tried unlike Yotsuyu.

Yeah, the moment Papalymo was axed, Yda became a wooden shoe. She was basically nothing without his foil to play off of, and the inverse was true.

Honestly, there were Scions I would have offed before the lalafel. And I feel like the replacements they're coming up with - like G'raha Tia and Ryne - are significantly weaker than what we started with.

So true, I actually forgot Kan-E-Senna existed. I do wish they used her a lot more... for you know, anything. Anything at all. For the most part she just sits in Gridania and does nothing, only left for the occasional alliance meeting, informed the scions about the first war of succession, and I guess she went to Moghome as well for the moogle thing and bring back Y'shtola but most of those events that occurred was in Heavensward. She's literally done nothing since Heavensward. I want to like Kan-E-Senna, but I just can't since she's so bland and contributed really nothing to the story. It's a shame since I do like Gridania for the most part, but their leader is just garbage and just exists for the point of existing, only to be brought back when things need to be discussed and even then she doesn't do a lot of talking.

I don’t see why…we would kill him. He didn’t kill anyone. It’s legal. You’re gauging these two situations terribly. The guy did some messed up stuff sure but it didn’t result in anyone dying. Yotsuyu on the other hand committed several war crimes and went on a mass murder and torturing spree. So yes ofc Hien would want her dead. She was a danger to his people as we saw numerous times and finally when she turned into a primal.

If I had to wager a guess, it's the widely-held perception that Y'da is fits the 'dumb blonde' stereotype. Which is a shame, considering the fact that a) she seems very intelligent, and - more importantly b) she's one of the few Scions who seems possess significant character flaws, or to be capable of independent thought. When Lyse needed to leave the order, she left - she didn't waffle; she didn't become a third wheel. She decided that there was a more important calling, and she quit. And I have to admire that, because most of the rest of the gang just seems to be an eternal clinger to the WoL's coattails, with zero independent interests or attachments of their own.
