Who is your least favorite major character and why?

How so? I disagree.

He's one of the best looking male characters in the game. He also has very interesting ties to the Buduga.

Furthermore, he's unapologetic about doing what he sees as best for his people - even fully embracing moral greyness such as choosing to flood Doma castle and strongarm the Xaela into joining a fight that did not concern them in the slightest. His callousness towards Yotsuyu's plight is also refreshing since so many of the leader figures in this game love to pretend to care about all manner of issues when it benefits their cause only to completely neglect/ignore them whenever it isn't beneficial.

He wouldn't be doing anything if it wasn't for the WOL winning the tornament arc in Stormblood. I dunno.. I'm not a fan of him either because of that. Like he was gonna sit there and chill while his people were giving up on everything. It took Me to solve all those issues. Me=wol. honestly I think Lyse gets too much hate and Hien not enough hate honestly. Maybe I'm bias but ye---ah that stings for me.

Tho if I'm being honest.. ALL of the characters are like that. They can't do anything until I either start it or if they start it.. I finish it. I'll never forget how stupid it was just throwing the Nigghogg eyes off the cliff instead of I dunno.... killing them!

also, letting yotsuyu, an amnesic pow, roam around without supervision so that she can run away to summon a primal and yet, he gets no blame for that despite it being his fault (meanwhile, lyse gets a lot of hate for a very similar thing, despite the fact she had no way of knowing the guards were enthralled and aiding the rogue snakewomen, that's on her for trying to be diplomatic, right?)
there are various other things that completely put me off the character that I can't remember right now, but those two are the major ones

He's also quite one dimensional.
If we want to declare my trash Zenos as being one dimensional chaotic then Hien is the one dimensional good boi.
He's very much forgettable. Like sure, he's got that aesthetic going on, but other than that he's boring.

G'raha Tia. I have loathed him since CT, I actually suspected he was going to end up being an Ascian minion for most of the raid, and I was glad when we shut him up inside. When he came back, I was horrified. He creeps me out with his puppy-dog thing. Hell, he barely knows the WoL, but that doesn't stop him doing his adoring. I also hate that he is virtually a mirror image of Emet-Selch, but he gets away with making the same kinds of questionable decisions (clinging onto the past much, G'raha?). Still, I guess that's the fault of some of the folks playing the game, not the character's

I also didn't think much of Hien, good or bad, my first time through, up until I hit that point in post-SB where you run into one of the people involved in making Yotsuyu's life hell and, it's been a while so I forget the exact conversation, he just kind of glosses over the fact? Asshole gets away with it, scot-free?? Don't get me wrong, Yotsuyu got what she deserved (orchestrated it herself, even), but the people are plenty guilty too, if you ask me...

Okay so I've unfortunately made it to that scene again on my alt and my recollection wasn't perfect, but my point still stands.



Rarely have I wanted to throttle an NPC more than I do this jackass...

Graha and Zenos are likely the worst characters in any ff game to date and I would happily dance as they made their exit.

If we are taking generalities, I also am not a fan of any lala characters, mainly because I seem to have the opposite reaction to kawaii than most. I would rather burn it with fire than fawn over it. Not sure why, just always been that way. And it doesn't help that most of the lala characters are just not likable. Then we have the Au ra, there is something about their design from head to toe, both male and female, that just feels off and clunky.

*Spoilers* Zenos for obvious reasons, big one being incredibly unworthy as a final villain. Since Stormblood we fought his ass once in Ala Migho, twice in Doma thrice in The Royal palace, 4 times as a Echo hoping Shinryu, 5th in Ghmlyt 6th as a apparition in Tempest. The one fight we had with Varis is better and would’ve made a better antagonist for one being interesting and two being present since ARR.

I can’t stand his arc, Fandango or whatver is still underdeveloped and new while this asshat has been boring since 4.0

Alisaie and the other fanboi, Graha Tia. I’d add Zenos and Fandaniel but they won’t survive 6.0 ( well Zenos could do it, this guy is an unkillable cockroach, he would survive a calamity without even trying).
