Not sure where you guys have been but PGL is very useful in both Ifrit and Moogle. I believe it was already said once that PGL stomps all other dps on the GLA and MRD moogles, and having just one PGL makes that fight easier. Not to mention they are amazing off-tanks, easily holding and surviving certain enemies during those fights. If you haven't tried it, go out and tank Ifrit as PGL, it's obnoxious fun and you do so much damage it's unfair. Monk will only make this more amazing, kick and air attacks on Ifrit? Yes please!

Not sure where you guys have been but PGL is very useful in both Ifrit and Moogle.

PGL works fine in these fights, it's true, but other classes take less effort overall and are therefore preferred.

The damage gained over GLA and MRD moogles is lost while chasing down all the others. That, and spontaneous hate shifts lead to broken combos. A squad of ARCs doesn't have to deal with this.

A PGL on Ifrit means exposing oneself to Sear. This wasn't a problem before 1.20 because we were cool with Cure and Sacrifice back then. Now curing DD on Ifrit is a cardinal sin--because God forbid one of the two CNJs has to select another target. If you throw a bunch of THMs at Ifrit, you do top damage with low risk and the CNJs don't have to alt-tab out of Youtube before 25%. Luxury!

Fortunately, PGL can fill the role of tank, no problem.
