    The rumor going around is it replaced Sap. Also someone translated it as such apparently( I don't read Jp)

    Ratsetsushou (roughly, Spirit Impact)
    Monk, Recast Time: 60 seconds
    Charging attack against target. If no enmity exists on the target, additional effect: Stun.


    Also to note, as I was watching the video I was thinking "Is this a developer build? The Mnk is't losing Mp while using Wind Fists". Someone noted that the Bard MP refresh recovers 34 MP a tick, effectively making fists permanent. While we don't know the MP drain of Kick Attacks, this is a pretty huge deal for Mnk. Someone in my LS even noticed how Mnk was doing about the same damage per round as Lnc with damage.

    On the Chimera, MNK is doing about 40-45 per hit (2 hits per AA is 80-90) while the other classes range from like 8 on PLD to 17 on WAR.

    Seems like Chimera is weak to Wind.

    Nice! They changed fists of wind. This should make it easier to chase those moogles.

    Seems like Kick got gimped a bit.

    Adds kick to auto-attacks. Damage of auto-attacks is reduced.
    Cannot be used simultaneously with Hundred Fists.
    Recast Time: 120 sec.

    Might be good for building TP and looking badass

    Well the old notes showed it as consuming MP while active, and unable to use Fists of XXXX with it.

    I'd say the change is better, depending on how it works (and if I understand the damage formulas correctly) it might be a net DPS gain on squishys, and net loss on GLA types (if Fist of XXX isn't active)

    At first I thought kicks would be similar to fists of elements where we can keep it up as long as we had MP, but since it has a pretty long cooldown I'm thinking it may only last a short duration

    Wow I didn't notice the change to Fists of Wind from the info we were given before, that's really nice. It probably will be useful in Ifrit, too, since he's weak to Wind and it will make it easier to get out of the way of eruptions, and you could get back into position with Shoulder Tackle.
