Fair. But do they make enough alone on subscription fees to maintain the game, development (is very expensive), servers, infrastructure etc etc ?

The cash shop exist for a reason and so far they haven't done anything to extreme imo..
and I don't mean to come off as a sheep here i'm just trying to think realistic and also taking into account my own experiences in my profession in IT development.

Mhm, but the question was whever the subscription fee is enough or if the cash shop is required for the longterm profit expection to keep the upper management happy and not kill the game.

Pay juice extra checks at the end of the month.

Some bonuses here and there for diferent CEO and higher up positions. Yeah.
Are you just guessing or is this known? Square Enix isn't Activition-Blizzard as far I know.

I'm sure Matsuda (SQEN CEO) gets paid appropriately but when Yoshida says revenue from the mogstation/store front goes back into the game, I believe him. Of course he could be lying for PR but he done enough good to earn my trust until proven otherwise. However, that doesn't mean I approve with all decisions they made with the game.
