Why do Seasonal Events get stripped down each year and not added too?

I'd honestly empathise if they'd of not put all the old free content on the paid store and added new content paid at the same time - I'm disgusted in them.

edit: It's a shame I can't speak Japenese and could voice my disgust in person or atleast on the Japanese forum that's more likely to be seen.

I'd guess you're new? This has unfortnately happened for years and will not change.
It's a double edge sword. Either you keep the stuff exclusive and not accessable for new players or put it in the cash shop 1+ year later the event and people never has to feel FOMO.

Google Translate is a option i guess if you really want to vent your frustrations.

I played the game a lot pre heavensward and a little into the expansion when it was released - lost my old account due to an email hack, but moving on!

The game had just released the cash shop when I stopped playing and I warned of the this very thing happening on the forums but no one took me seriously "Square Enix is different" etc

they already merged events because of covid (and tbh they were trash events too), could have worked a bit more on this one, idk do something to keep your playerbase interested for the next 3 mounths without any content outsides of these events....

If you need a seasonal event to keep your interested or subbed until a exp, then i dunno.

Seasonal events have been getting worse for awhile, especially if you're a viera/hrothgar. Those events that only give a hat we can't even wear were pretty cool lol.

It's just like everything else in this game, we keep getting less and less content as time goes on. Soon we won't even get dungeons anymore.
