Why do Seasonal Events get stripped down each year and not added too?

I don't know why they couldn't have just added the jump quest. It gave the event such a nice touch of "something to do" as it kinda made you stay in costa del sol with a purpose, rather than just collect the event's reward, take a screenshot in your favorite beach glam, and leave.

What would it have cost them to include something they've done in the past before? Would it have been that hard? To those who'd refute with claims of flying, they included a no-mount zone. I feel that would do more than enough to deter fliers. Even if it didn't, so what? Better than not having it in, and for little effort too!

I was actually so disappointed when they didn't put the jumping puzzle back. I mean I know covid and whatever but come on you couldn't even copy/paste the puzzle back in?? Seasonal events are in general super meh and disappointing for the past while even without covid messing with things.

Another poster made a valid point.. With flying now in ARR, what's the point of the jump puzzle? You could just fly to the top.

I think the solution to this currently would be to give it its own instance, much like Leap of Faith.

Well. Even when there was no flying they already put a "No mount allowed" debuff on your Character during the quest. So I dont really see the problem.

It may depend exactly how the "no mount" debuff works – can it block the airspace around the tower or do you have to walk over it?
