I think you can, I just think that - at some level - the Amazon software team's management is completely incompetent.
I mean, you can drive a truck of money up to 'big' names in any industry and recruit them - you absolutely can put together an all star team. The question is: has Amazon actually ever done such a thing (or was the software team 'Bezos'd' from the start, and was basically a bunch of college grads with no experience and no salary command [which wouldn't surprise me])... and, if they did, how could they so horrifically mismanage said talent to the point where a) they had to just drop a lucrative project like a new LOTR MMORPG, and b) their supposed flagship game, New World, is basically DOA?
