Would skill based match making be good for FFXIV?

Sounds a bit like how we can toggle joining duties in progress or not. Sounds like a good idea to be honest, I wouldn't have a problem with it as you wouldn't have to tick it if you didn't want to and the veteran player would be much less likely to throw their weight around if its 1 vs 3

I still worry about the community implications of "Prefer matches with similar players. (See the secondary "Expected Wait Time value.)" even if it somehow could be pulled off, but insofar as options go (even ones like this)... I'd generally rather have them than not.
