23 million players and they really need to resort to a lottery? I was hoping for some instanced housing but a lottery just sounds nightmarish as well, bots will come by their hundreds. FC and solo wards means I need to know what ward is what, when you could just make company workshops usable in a private plot and a lot of people with 2 houses won't need a second one anymore.

Even if they just made a large apartment and allowed gardening in it, I think a lot would be pretty happy with that. Make it so if you had a large apartment you cannot have a ward house.

We don't have 23 million players. lol But yeah, I really don't think the devs get it. This just shows that they are out of ideas on how to make things work with the current system and decided to go with an option brought up through some random Q&A because why the heck not. With the population steadily increasing, they should be focused on futureproofing housing, not applying a bandaid to a severed limb and basically saying "Welp, we have no tourniquet, no medical experience and no pain meds. Let's just put this on there and hope it does something. Good luck surviving!"
