I agree with this. They don't develop like humans (or hyurs in this case) because they aren't humans, they are viera.I don't think that they're meant to look younger than female Viera, they're just meant to be androgynous. In humans, women retain youthful features (big eyes, small nose, small face, and soft, round features), whereas men develop more angular ones during puberty. So I think that, to many of us, male Viera look underdeveloped, but it might be that they just don't ever develop what we consider to be masculine features.

Yes, and thats personally what I dont like about how they look.
Thats kinda irrelevant, because Im not comparing them to any other race. Just, I dont like how young they look personally.
Some of these Viera could be 67 because they are longer lived and so age differently...but that doesn't change that...its just not a look for me.
I get you, it's not for everyone and that's ok.Thats kinda irrelevant, because Im not comparing them to any other race. Just, I dont like how young they look personally.

As long as they add a non-teenager face like Miqo'te has I'll be fine with them. It will also depend on how tall they are, for those of us who are tall being as short as midlander is a big problem.

"Most likely" based on what?
Male/female height has the same precedence that it has in real life.
I have a great feeling they will listen to our suggestion of making the male Viera slider have a high degree of range so that you can be taller than Highlander but as short as midlander.
I actually meant to say similar, not the same. And it's just based off comparison screenshots. I've seen a few good screenshots that seem like they are within the same height range. I've also done a few comparisons myself (like in your thread)."Most likely" based on what?

Edit:
I've seen a few people who want male viera min/max height to be just a little bit shorter than the females, nothing extreme or drastic. Since the female viera are quite tall, even if the males are a bit shorter than the females, they would still be tall. I don't really have a problem with it either way.
On a side note, I have done a height comparison of my own that I posted in my thread, but I'll post it here too. They look to be around the same height.
(Keep in mind the female viera is wearing high heels)
When I was doing this comparison, I tried to keep their head size the same (I figure their heads will be relatively the same size in the game, so that's the way I measured it). That's what the red outline is showing.
I did a second height comparison privately and found that max height male viera's head (the very top of their head, not ears) goes up to max height female roegadyn's collarbone. Minimum height male viera goes up to max height female roegadyn's chest.
None of this is 100% accurate obviously, just an estimate.I wish I saved it, but I'll see if I can do it again. It'll be a few minutes and I'll edit it in this post.
Edit: Found the image I used finally. So from my previous image, it looked like the male viera was about 8 heads tall. So with that information, I did this:
When I look at the character height sheet, there doesn't seem to be a huge range in height save for female roegadyn. So I was really just eyeballing that range from 0%-100% which is why I didn't plan on posting it since it's really not that accurate lol
Edit #2: It looks like max height female viera also reaches up to female roegadyn's collar or somewhere around that.
If I were to take a guess, it looks like there's only going to be a few centimeters of difference in height. Here is another good height comparison.
This is a comparison between X height male viera and max height male midlander.

The male viera head does seem a little bigger, so the scaling might be a tad bit off. If this is the case, assume he's a little smaller than what the picture shows.
I made another height comparison but this time with female viera and male midlander.
Assuming the male viera in the trailer is at 50% height, the males and females should pretty much be the same height. (and also assuming the male viera don't have a wider height range.)

I take a long break and you're still on this? This is just kind of sad."Most likely" based on what?
