Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

The only thing interesting about Male Viera, is that we have never seen one in all FF History when Viera were included.
Now we know they look like Playboy Bunny Boys. Not Men, Boys. They would be alot more interesting they were more masculine looking instead of youthful.

Except that overly masculine ones would contradict the lore we have already been given. I also think we have a lot of overly muscular characters, (Au ra, Roe, hrothgar, Highlander) Having more boyish customisations is a good thing.

Whether or not they are interesting is a personal choice. I for one find them very interesting, I find Hrothgar boring, does that mean Hrothgar should be binned? No. Does that mean i will cry and shout at people who do find them interesting? No.

At the end of the day the additions are a positive thing, and if they arent to some peoples tastes, thats fine, it would be impossible for them to be appealing to everyone. I think people need to wake up and realise it isnt a competition and the inclusion of one is not a bar against the other. This whole: "Male viera cost us hats an hairstyles" is rediculous. It was likely a choice of "do we add the missing genders or not?" and "do we fix the hats or not" Both separate desires and they prioritised based on what they felt had the greatest effect. YOshi P even said they were looking at the hat issue to see what options they had.

Not asking for Overly Masculine. Just something that doesn't look....barely 18 if even 18. Id like it more if they appeared more mature. Not like 40+ but outside of the..Im not even sure how to describe it without just calling them children.

I don't think that they're meant to look younger than female Viera, they're just meant to be androgynous. In humans, women retain youthful features (big eyes, small nose, small face, and soft, round features), whereas men develop more angular ones during puberty. So I think that, to many of us, male Viera look underdeveloped, but it might be that they just don't ever develop what we consider to be masculine features.

Thats kinda irrelevant, because Im not comparing them to any other race. Just, I dont like how young they look personally.
Some of these Viera could be 67 because they are longer lived and so age differently...but that doesn't change that...its just not a look for me.

As long as they add a non-teenager face like Miqo'te has I'll be fine with them. It will also depend on how tall they are, for those of us who are tall being as short as midlander is a big problem.

Again that would be lore breaking as viera physically stop aging around adolescence, so you would never get one that looks older than a teen really.

Source on that? I don't think I have seen a teen in my life that looked like Fran. I'd say mid to late 20s is when they "freeze".
