Nope. Female hrothgar are boring, male viera is a highlight.

The only thing interesting about Male Viera, is that we have never seen one in all FF History when Viera were included.
Now we know they look like Playboy Bunny Boys. Not Men, Boys. They would be alot more interesting they were more masculine looking instead of youthful.

Really, the whole thing with pushing for them to be added to the game was bound to make them less interesting for at least some of the people asking for them.

So long as they "didn't exist" and had never been seen, they were simultaneously everything that every single person wanted them to be.

Now they're a thing. You may like them or not, but they can't continue to be everything at once now that they can be seen.

I ... I agree. I myself use the more masculine faces when it comes to miqote. Correction - the only masculine face. My biggest hope is that he will have a wild/masculine face choice.
But I'm ok with this aesthetique if I'm honest. We'll just have to see come benchmark what customisations they have.
Also, call it what you want but both gender are playboy at the very least. I'd argue that we call female viera bunny girls and are more "playboy" than "feminine woman" depending on the customisation and glam.

Except that overly masculine ones would contradict the lore we have already been given. I also think we have a lot of overly muscular characters, (Au ra, Roe, hrothgar, Highlander) Having more boyish customisations is a good thing.

Whether or not they are interesting is a personal choice. I for one find them very interesting, I find Hrothgar boring, does that mean Hrothgar should be binned? No. Does that mean i will cry and shout at people who do find them interesting? No.

At the end of the day the additions are a positive thing, and if they arent to some peoples tastes, thats fine, it would be impossible for them to be appealing to everyone. I think people need to wake up and realise it isnt a competition and the inclusion of one is not a bar against the other. This whole: "Male viera cost us hats an hairstyles" is rediculous. It was likely a choice of "do we add the missing genders or not?" and "do we fix the hats or not" Both separate desires and they prioritised based on what they felt had the greatest effect. YOshi P even said they were looking at the hat issue to see what options they had.

The older face is the only one that couldn't pass for a female character if you wanted to, but I do think the oldest of the younger faces isn't feminine. It's sharper and less boyish than the others.

Personally, I find the male viera interesting as they are. I like their current design and am happy they aren't more masculine. They look bihsounen and slim which is something I've always wanted. Elezen have odd proportions, so I can't wait to make the switch.

Not asking for Overly Masculine. Just something that doesn't look....barely 18 if even 18. Id like it more if they appeared more mature. Not like 40+ but outside of the..Im not even sure how to describe it without just calling them children.
