One man's hero is another man's sworn enemy and the reverse can be true as well.

A member of the Buduga tribe dragging a fresh captive back to an encampment would be a hero to his people in the same way that a seasoned veteran cutting down a proud, peaceful beast to sell its pelt and claws would be a hero to whoever paid him to do the deed.

Very much a matter of perspective on that front, once more.

That reminds me - I ought to dust off my Buduga alt at some point...luckily there's plenty of time to take him through the MSQ's before Endwalker is here!

That reminds me i really hope we see more of the Buduga in 6.0! They're so interesting and captivating and i wished we got to learn more about their customs and beliefs. Theyre so nice.

By chance is he around the Azim Steppe questline or farther ahead?

There is a bit of the Auri creation myth that speaks of Azim fashioning an Avatar to walk among his and Nhamaa's children. Which I felt implies that Azem summoned something akin to Zodiark and Hydealyn. Sure it may just be bits of misremembered tribal lore, but eh. Something about it may ring true.

Just my opinion. Won't lose sleep if you don't like it.

If I recall correctly, the intention is to reunite with as many characters as possible throughout Endwalker so...I could see some of the key players from the Azim Steppe showing up. Magnai and Sadu stand a firm chance of getting in, I reckon. Though hopefully Magnai is accompanied by Daidukul.

He's stuck in Heavensward at the moment. I'm looking forward to potentially learning more of the Raen/Xaela moving forward though. Maybe another dungeon to show us more of the Azim Steppe.

I was hoping that the 'toppled' throne in the desert part of the zone would be given the Skalla treatment and be a lost ruin we'd explore but...alas, the number of new dungeons was reduced over time so I think that's less likely to happen now.
