They've completely removed the collector's box/edition from the NA store. You can't even see what it was anymore. Like as if it never existed.

Really bad practice if you ask me, and extremely poor decision making on behalf of SE on the way they handled the whole CE edition. They haven't even acknowledged the HIGH demand for it, or addressed anything about it..... very poor PR.....

Yeah, I noticed this as well. Even if you have it pre-ordered and try to check the page from your account it is not showing. Odd to say the least. Anyone know the status on other regions' stores?

EU is the same, not to mention all the people who did order within the first 10 minutes had there orders messed up and wont be getting anything... Scalefast/SE really screwed the pooch on this one. Hope they speak up soon about what they're doing, rather than some terrible email that just blames the customer and doesn't even acknowledge the issue that happened.

Yep, it's just gone. It's also a little worrying that even people who ordered can't see some archived page or something. They definitely screwed up on this one.

Even people watching the Fan Fest stream couldn't get it. For NA, they randomly decided to make them available at 1am so they weren't available when announced on the stream, the store crashed so people couldn't get in, and then they were gone in no time when it finally was available again. EU they did announce the time for availability but they sold out just as quick. So don't feel too bad that you weren't here because you may have just ended up like so many of us.

Yeah, that's exactly what went down. Such a shame, I was 3 for 3 on the CE shooting for fourth. Other three times it went smooth, but man, things went a bit south this time around.

For NA, they randomly decided to make them available at 1am so they weren't available when announced on the stream, the store crashed so people couldn't get in, and then they were gone in no time when it finally was available again. I started spamming refresh on the site the moment they said "might want to get it now" or something along those lines. It was at that point the site crashed due to heavy traffic. I know this to be true because I was checking it pretty regularly prior to the live announcement, and things were running just fine. I tried again an hour later on a whim and was able to get in, but when I went to check out I was like, #61,000 and some change in line. Never seen a queue that long. I was one of the lucky ones, but it was a crap show at best. They really should have handled this way better. Never had a problem ordering a CE from them before this one. I get that things are...intense globally but they clearly did not prepare enough for this.

There will not be any further waves/releases of physical CEs. Everyone who missed out because of the time of release (such as east coast NA) will have no other chances of getting this from Square-Enix.
