Looking at this picture, you'd think the Hrothgar and Viera are similar in height. But the backgrounds don't line up perfectly. And you have to consider camera angles and distances. On top of that, we don't know how tall that Hrothgar is.

So who's to say? We can only go by what we know for sure already.

In my opinion, I feel that the male Viera will end up being taller than the females, just as is the case with most of the races. If they are going to be an exception to that common dimorphism, then it'll most likely be a Lalafell-type situation where Viera males and females are the same height.

I really doubt they're going to be as short as male Miqo'te. Yoshi's comment about making them Elezen-like is very telling, and you can see it in both the concept art and final illustration art.



The finalized male Viera look very faithful to the art. They have tall, lanky proportions. Their torsos are long, although it's hard to tell because their clothes hide it. Their legs are also lengthy. They don't have that short, gymnast type of body that the male Miqo'te do. If anything, they have more of a swimmer build, like the male Au Ra and male Elezen. Though granted, swimmers don't usually have long legs like that. But they definitely got long torsos.

Again, they're not going to be huge. Will they be taller than Roegadyn, Au Ra, Hrothgar, and Elezen? No way, unless you count the ears.

A maximum height male Viera will probably be a little taller than a maximum height male Highlander, a minimum height Hrothgar, and be around the same height as a minimum height Au Ra.

I think people expecting huge, extremely tall bunny men will be disappointed, but so will those who are expecting very short, Miqo'te-sized bunny boys.

Shortest Hrothgar is 196.2 cm, tallest is 212.9cm.
Shortest Viera is 178.8 cm, tallest is 191.4 cm.

So if that image is accurate looks like they'll be about the same height or slightly taller than female Viera? Depending on where the slider is at.
