    Space isnt cold, its a vacuum, it only insulates. It seems "cold" as we are exotherms that LOSE heat in space.

    A thermos is a vacuum, remember?

    We still freeze to death in seconds if caught in the vacuum of space without anything to protect us.

    With no air pressure all the air is sucked from your lungs, and your liquids start boiling while the gasses inside your body start expanding due to ebullism. You would be unconscious in 10 to 15 seconds due to lack of blood and oxygen to the brain, and you would swell up to about double your size from the expanding gasses. Luckily skin is elastic so you wouldn't explode.

    You would die from no oxygen long before you lost your heat especially if you are in sunlight where you could end up with the biggest case of sunburn on your dead bloated body.

    Space is a vacuum, vacuum insulates against heat loss, so any popsiclation would take a long time.
