Update: Very strange... You click through the errors to keep on going and it works. Very odd design.
Usually when I see RED TEXT I assume the thing failed. But not here.
Now I'll check the moogle for my whale. Sigh...

Interesting when you ride the whale you are inside it and won't see your AV on top which is what i expected.

I believe they mentioned it was too difficult to code eight individual characters on a mount. Personally, that's the main reason I don't have much interest in it.

I was kind of surprised when i got onto the whale and found myself inside and not visible. I think I'm going to pass. I'm not a collector. It's kind of hard to be with all my alts. If there was a common mount bank/glamour bank/minion bank etc that would be different although this one is account wide.

i kind of collect characters (alts) it's a weakness of mine.

My thoughts. Square Enix gets away with it because the content delivery is consistent. Promise you in other MMO's they start questioning the meaning of their lives and what is the point of this MMO as these types of things are seen as cash grabs.

FF14 is a very very unique community that many MMO devs would kill for on the number of RMT items they put in the MogStation. I grabbed the Lunar whale and Rydia minion to support Square Enix because they have treated me as a player with respect by valuing my time and not making FF14 into some RNG grindfest.

The mount looks cool, has it's traditional look based on the original artwork alongside keeping in tradition with all it's appearances and will be amazingly useful by being one of the few 8 seater mounts in the game.

Should you ever have friends or an FC and want to travel around together for treasure maps, hunts, fate grinds and what have you.

If there is any complaint it would be in the defense of raiders(I don't raid competitively) that there isn't a stellar reward much like the whale is for getting savage or unreal content clears.

I was actually wondering about the minions I had ordered as they were also delayed. I found out there's actually a button at the top once you've opened the mailbox that you can use to "request orders" and this should put a direct call out to have the mail sent to you right away. Or at least that's how it ended up working for me. My minion order was delayed, I clicked the button in the in game mail box and my mail arrived in a few seconds.
