    Yes, that's it! Thank you! I'm not sure why I thought it was a DoT...maybe it used to be? Maybe I'm imagining things 0_o I understand why it's there, but it's such a weird one.. and the Kassatsu one too. It's like "hmm, the players aren't using this ability much".... "Well we'll MAKE THEM USE IT!"

    If healers at the very least gained their aoe dots back I'd be happy - we're players too, not just a safety net for party members, we deserve to have just as much fun playing our role as tanks and damage dealers do.

    That said, I don't expect much changes tbh, AST specially, they'll probably just delete everything to do with noct and call it a day.

    BLM could benefit something during its early levelling like having no reason to use Blizzard 2 aside making sure you take nice photos and adding some editing filters.
    I can see how people just don't like using the class for roulette.
    Overall lv80 BLM feels very nice to play and hopefully they don't butcher it

    - MNK... I'm curious to see what Monk will become. It got stripped to its bare bones mid-ShB as a paliative, to finally receive proper new things in EW.
    - BLU. Not holding my breath that much, but I'd be happy with them taking this job a bit further in playstyle refinement (e.g. BLU tanks are still pretty bad) and actual content to play with.

    AST is losing noct but it's not clear how much it'll be changed beyond that. And with SCH, we're getting another barrier healer sure but that doesn't necessarily mean it's getting a huge overhaul beyond the normal job changes and new abilities that come every expansion.

    We had one ultimate and TEA had 2 phases where Bio-Blaster could be used. Having one or two skills that have AoE variant or specialized in AoE, it's okay.
    But currently there's too much and no more needs to be added. Air Anchor AoE version? Battery spender AoE version? So you'd have 2-3 new things for the whole expansion?

    Just no. Even if it was actually half the content, no more aoe variants. More than rarely being pressed it's a boring choice, it's a filler ability so the design team doesn't have to bother with tweaking the rotation that much.
    If you want more AoE, makes them part of the ST rotation, Ricochet works. Having more than 2 damage buttons that sleeps in your hotbar, that you wouldn't use for a whole raid session is simply wrong, regardless if it's used in some content.

    Adding more AoE variant will just lead to half your job kit sleeping depending on the number of target. Is that what you really want?

    Fully expect SMN egis to get the ax and for their skills to become some new animation. Oh and then they'll finally just do away with AST cards and AST will just revert back to a WHM because that's all it is without cards.

    I think I'd be okay if they scrapped Egis altogether and just incorporated them in the animations. Tri-Disaster could summon Garuda-Egi for a second to cast it and then disappears, Devotion could summon Carbuncle temporarily. Raise could summon Phoenix-egi briefly to revive a party member, before going away. Just small animation changes that would make you feel you command a lot of summons at the same time.

    Realistically, I doubt any of that will happen. But I can dream, right?

    Some improvements to DPS identity.

    With Sage being added, possibly more diversity in what each Healer job class can do. Maybe a well rounded balance between Healing, Attacking, Regen/Shields.

    I want Sabin's Blitz to be the new central mechanic for MNK. I've only been maining the job since Stormblood and I already am losing my patience waiting for SE to take any form of feedback, so I can't even imagine how ARR veterans feel that have been waiting since day 1. If MNK is still unacceptably trash by 6.0 I'm not picking up the job ever again, because at that point I doubt it will ever be good for the remainder of FFXIV's lifespan.
