    Only dungeons and Bozja use multiple targets. In Single Target content, which makes almost all savages, ultimates, unreal, extreme, the button is just taking space.
    How much of battle content is single target? Most of it. What's the point of creating a cooldown that will be barely used?

    It's like having a fan while living in a country where temperature will never go beyond 10 degrees.
    Of course you won't use it, but why would get one in the first place?

    I would really like to see SMN and BLM get reworked quite honestly. I feel really bad picking BLM up off the floor in every Tower encounter (as well as any other time). SMN is pretty mobile but the dancing around with spells that you have to do is a full-time job that gets to the point of making it no longer interesting. I don't want to see them dumbed down to the point tanks were, but make so they make a little more 'sense' to play. Someone got crazy with the 'if, then' statements on the back end for SMN, lol.

    BLM just needs some absolute mobile love. It's the one reason I don't play the class, and with so much AoE and dancing around on the raid dance floors to avoid dying, it's really taken away (for me) from doing good DPS with it. I'd pretty much default to an RDM, MCH or DNC if I go play DPS, but then I get too worried about the mediocre healing that takes place and end up going AST regardless. :\

    SMN should be getting a rework. Recent comments by Yoshi-P seem to suggest to me at least that they're getting rid of egis. Considering how bloated the SMN rotation has become and how Yoshi-P has already voiced his disdain for pets and has nerfed them every expansion, this is probably the end of the road for them. At this point, I would welcome the removal of egis if they were replaced by a flashy spell related to the primal. Summoners in other FF games often don't use pets and just cast a spell related to a summon. I think that works better with the pace and style of this game anyway.

    The healers are all going to get a shakeup since they're adding another to their ranks. AST will probably be a very different job after the dust settles and SCH will probably get a buff since it doesn't need to be comparable to AST anymore.

    I hope they fine-tune MNK since the recent changes just feel like a band-aid. DRG already has an extremely long and unforgiving rotation and I feel like another 10 levels of abilities will make that worse unless they change something. BRD currently has an identity crisis and I don't see them around much since it seems like MCH and DNC have more specific roles. Personally, if they add a bane-type ability to BRD to spread their DoTs or give our flaming arrows back, I will be happy.

    I really like the ShB changes to MCH and I think 90% of the community does too. ShB took away the stupid RNG rotation and the extra having to pay attention to and balance of pets, as well as the clumsiness of the old heat gauge and I'm happy with that. ShB also gave it an identity, giving us new abilities that match up to machinsts of FFs past. Like I said before, Yoshi-P is getting rid of pets so there's no reason why the Queen should be anything more than a glorified DoT and I'm OK with that. Wildfire and the current rotation may be more boring, but it's also easier and more consistent. Only thing I'd want to change is maybe added functionality to the battery gauge since it doesn't really have much of a point and putting the Queen on a long cool-down would pretty much accomplish the same thing.

    Why are you complaining about skills that exist for content you aren't running on said class? Like it or not there are people using those classes in the content where those skills are useful.

    And as far as the fan goes, there's all sorts of reasons you could have a fan despite not needing it to cool things, you could use it to circulate the air in your house, to pull smoke out of your house if you say burn your food... just because you don't always need something doesn't mean there's no point to having it handy incase a use does arrive.

    There's a Dungeon released in every patch.
    Trials, Raids and Ultimates alternate between patches, and even some of those have multiple targets.
    So I'd say it accounts for at least half of the content, plus anything set in the open world, which includes maps.
    Besides, most people run multiple dungeons a day, via Expert and Levelling roulettes, and only run the higher level content if progging or farming, which usually isn't every day.

    You can't say most content is single target just because you never run dungeons.

    Yeah. If your focus is just on endgame progression and you only run dungeons once for msq or w/e sure you may not use aoe that much.

    But for those of us who do run dungeons a lot for leveling or tomes etc, aoe is something we do a lot.

    That's... that's literally the point of BLM. Its the turret and gives high dps for "lack of movement." If you know what you're doing, it's a very mobile class and will have movement options when you need them

    Hoping they restore Aero III for WHM as a starter I was annoyed over the removal of the flashiest AoE DoT. Also hoping healers get better reworks on their DPS side as well, we like to heal but we dont want to be railroaded into only healing with a 2 button DPS routine.
