



I'd argue Yoshida and SE are completely in touch with the playerbase when it comes to this. They probably have the data showing vast amounts of players underperforming, along with regular feedback for 'easy', or 'very easy' mode(s).
I think those are hard to gauge, honestly. I will regularly hit "very easy" just to zoom through a quest I've done before. A lot of encounters in quests just aren't interesting enough to last longer than a minute.


Correct me if im wrong. Didn't they added the gauge system do to a skill gap between the playerbase?
