I do remember people were literally asking for playable children, but if not that it was something borderline adolescent. Thing is lalafell, in my view, are pretty much toddlers. Cartoonish toddlers sure, but toddlers all the same.

Personally it’s moreso not even just their appearance but their emotes as well that make them seem very very child-like.

It also doesnt help that Lalafell children just look like the adults (maybe a bit smaller).

Also agree on the emotes. I really hope that if we get male Viera and female Hrothgar that they choose emotes that fit. I am still annoyed that Xaela women not only look so dainty but that the emotes dont reflect their warrior lifestyle at all. Please dont give female Hrothgars the same threatment, lets give them more beastly emotes, the same with male Vieras.

Funny when you basically can use Lalafells to RP as a child. Google for Lalafell children, you will find pictures that are looking exactly like the adults. I also remember that at least quite a few people wanted to look more like the twins. Which is more a teenager and not a child. (Also those that wanted children are still in the minority)

Some of them were yeah, but I remember seeing a lot of complaints back then like: Viera height makes them masculine, their run animation makes them masculine, emotes, etc. It was definitely a thing. Apparently, a lot of people playing this game associate 'feminine' with small and cutesy specifically. Many people were really just wanting those "Feol viera" or whatever, something along the lines of miqo'te with bunny ears.

People that want small and cute creepy me out at a bit to be honest. Anyway, I hope we don't get male Viera just for salt stocks. However, if we do get them I hope they basically copy the female Viera which was Elezen, but better.
