I'd like them not to forget about Norvrandt. Be it the Empty, Voeburt, Ronka, the rest of the map or the Ancient ruins, there's plenty of room to build upon.
Ronka especially seems like an "Allagan Empire before it went nut", and based on the matching gear, seems a bit technological despite all we've seen being stone (glowy parts and stuff).

Likewise! I hope we see more of it in the future and it isn't just left to rot beyond the occasional side quest.

Assuming we get another lore book, that'll help flesh it out further I suppose...but I'd definitely appreciate more dungeons and such to keep it relevant.

We've been told that Ramuh is somehow different from the other Primals, as part of an explanation for why he could give us one of our Crystals Of Light. To this day we still have no idea why.

I know it will never happen, but it would also be nice to see updates to parts of the world.

Coerthas isn't actually supposed to be a snowy wasteland; before the Calamity it was green and verdant with snowcapped mountains. A lot of people don't realize that Ishgard actually had a large ocean harbor with sea trade, because the harbor in Western Coerthas is frozen. Would be nice to see the ice thaw and greenery and color return to Coerthas, as well as see Ishgardians begin rebuilding and resettling Coerthas (in Western Coerthas there was a village right outside the fort that was buried in snow, and the village further north where you met Ysalye was abandoned).

In Central Thanalan, there are a lot of Thanalan refugees (not to be confused with Ala Mhigan refugees), people who came from towns that were destroyed offscreen by Bahamut. Would be nice to see the refugee camps disassembled and rebuilt towns/new settlements pop up in Thanalan.

The farms and settlements of Ala Mhigo and Doma fell into disrepair after decades of the fit men being conscripted away, running off the join the Resistance, or being arrested/executed. Would be nice to see men return home and those settlements like Ala Gahnna and Namai a little more populated and being fixed up. Same with Kholusia on the First, with the shack town outside Eulmore being broken down and more permanent houses and farmsteads being setup (as well as that abandoned village being repopulated).

(^^^ I know all this is SUPPOSED to be happening in lore... but it's not as satisfying to just pretend it's happening as actuallying seeing it actually happening)

I'd feel really bad if we marched into Garlemald, killed Zenos, and then said "hooray we defeated evil!" and just waltzed back home, leaving Garlemald a wasteland. He'd also like to see Bozja restored. Maybe not the capital city, but... at least some sort of new settlement being built up. To my knowledge we've never visited a populated Bozjan town before.

I'd also like to see the areas of the setting that were heavily damaged aetherologically to be restored, like the Burn (aether drained by the Garleans, is like the Empty on the First), Meracydia (might have been blasted by a nuke like Bozja or is another Empty), and the World of Darkness/13th Shard.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking about this. Especially Eulmore. I thought Eulmores shack buildings would evolve into actual districts over time, and I was completely disappointed.

I hope they don't just sleep on the fact that the Garlond Ironworks has three of the mostly intact Weapons in their custody along with the two G-Warriors.

Even if it ends up just being for something silly like a new Rival Wings mode.

I thought it was mentioned in the MSQ that Ramuh in legends is both very wise and a protector of the forest. Since he was summoned with both of those attributes, he recognizes that his existence itself endangers the forest because of the aether he's sucking up. So he asks to be put down, but won't go down without a fight because he wants to test us and make sure we can protect the forest and the world at large in his absence.

I can't think of any loose story threads that haven't already been mentioned here that I want to see explained, but I do wish to know more about Nagxia as well as the pre-Garlean relationship between the southern Ilsabard city-states and Eorzea.

I want to see more of this in the future as well. We have seen it before with Mor Dhona, Idylshire, and the Doman Enclave so it is my hope that we will see them expand upon it in more ways in the future.

They have begun to rebuild the damage in Ishgard in the Foundation which was damaged before we got there in the first assault on the city. With a similar thing happening to the Garlean capitol to a much greater degree I am at least hoping there is some rebuilding there, essentially Doman Enclave Restoration 2.0.

On already existing maps I kind of wish more of the architecture such as the bridges and abandoned towns in Doma got restored with the restoration. And of course the Big One I want, The main city of Ala Mhigo to be accessible outside of the dungeon.

prior to 5.X I wanted Radz-at-han or greater extent thavnair to be a major focus in a expansion and got my wish in EW

I also would like Hingashi to be fleshed out more since there whole Isolation thing mirrors real life Japan way back when, and Doubt theyd be fine with the empire killing itself as along with Thavnair have a friendly relationship with the empire so they never felt obligated to join alliances. Also Kugane is supposed to be a small port town for trade imagine what Bukyo would look like most likely mirroring Tokyo. I love the Hingan asethetic alot and most of there land in Koshu. I imagine we will venture here after the empire dies out
