    This is exactly what I’m talking about, actually. Black Mage feels really strange to start with now as compared to other jobs. It doesn’t feel like it suddenly comes together so much as it has a whole new layer added every few levels. This isn’t a bad thing, but my casual self finds it over-encumbered as I had to learn the major rotational differences that happen at every previous cap. It’s just built differently and has a steeper learning curve as a result. I don’t like it, and would naturally like to change it, but having a job like that is good for the eco-system so I can’t really say much beyond that.

    I’m 100% with you on how the newer skills have less visual and audio punch, though.

    What I want for BRD:
    • Charges for Bloodletter and Empyreal Arrow
    • Adjustment to Army's Muse so it doesn't screw over the end of Warden's Minuet.
    • Apex Arrow off the GCD
    • More uses for Soul Voice, preferably something musical
    • Wanderer's Minuet at 50 so we have our full song rotation when synced down for stuff like MSQ Roulette and 50/60 Roulette
    • More support abilities such as Foe Requiem and Palisade
    • Replace Quick Nock with Wide Volley (I miss it so much =\)
    • Potency adjustments so the Physical Ranged Role isn't garbage in terms of rDPS.

    What I expect for BRD:
    • AoE Refulgent
    • No charges on Bloodletter and Empyreal Arrow
    • Further stripping of Job identity
    • "If battle system team does it they'll end up making BRD too strong so it's hard to...sorry."

    I dunno, I think ShB made me a bit pessimistic going into EW.

    Gonna jump on this too but for MNK.

    What I want for MNK in 6.0:
    - A new central mechanic, Blitz. Make Perfect Balance more interesting, give us something to do mid rotation. MNK was never meant to be a burst job and you can really tell. I feel like a WAR with an RNG tank gauge not a Monk.
    - Full Chakra rework. One of the most requested things for the job ever since its introduction.
    - No more fist stances. Why do they still exist???
    - No more Leaden Bootshine by giving Dragon Kick a better use. Most of our damage shouldn't be frontloaded into a goddamn skill we get at Level 1.
    - A rework to other skills that have been put into limbo because of GL's trivialization such as Form Shift, Anatman, Perfect Balance, etc.
    - More visual distinction, MNK is the most visually boring job in the game.

    What I expect to come in 6.0:
    - Chakra is still RNG.
    - New addition that repeats the same mistakes as the Shoulder Tackle traits for the third time in a row just to perpetuate the unnecessary existence of the fist stances.
    - No new central mechanic to fill GL's void. Still just hitting your Bootshines and nothing else.
    - Our situational skills function the exact same, with the addition of new buttons we will never ever press.

    RDM: I just hope they don't tack on yet another step to our burst combo. We already have Melee > Melee > Melee > Spell > Spell, and tacking on yet another spell at the end is just going to cause more frustration with phase changes and boss invulnerability etc.

    Hmmm okay some SMN thoughts/kinda wishlist:

    - make demi-Bahamut part of DWT at 70 rather than it's own part of the rotation, with a trait that also changes our attack spells the way FBT does (I really want consistency in this kit)

    - demi-primal auto-attacks independent of our GCD on their own set intervals

    - a third demi-primal at new level cap, trance works like FBT does now, new attack changes accompanying

    - make demi-primals not prioritize movement over attacking

    - trait that changes Ruin 3 to Ruin 5

    - trait: Outburst upgraded to Outburst 2

    - trait: Miasma III to some new DoT spell, same for Bio III (just upped potencies with new names like what happened with Biolysis on SCH)

    - trait: at level 58 or 68, Ifrit, Titan, and Garuda egi are replaced with Shiva, Ramuh, and Leviathan egi respectively (same roles). Another trait at 68 or 78 that upgrades them to a different set of primals we've encountered (I'm assuming they won't get rid of egi so I'm proposing this as an improvement on the existing system as a middle-ground)

    - At 30: Aetherflow changed to a gauge that fills as we use Energy Drain/Siphon (would love to just have this be Aspir and Aspir II for AoE) + egi assaults. Gauge can be spent on single target or AoE skills of primals we don't get egi for as one-off oGCD attacks replacing Fester and Painflare, which I'd like to see removed for more SMN flavoured oGCDs.

    BLM is perfect at 80 right now. But regardless, just give us Fire V, please!

    Though I do agree lower leveled jobs all across the board -- not just Black Mage, needs some tuning and work.

    Meltdown would probably serve as a Fire 5 unless they consider Despair to be Fire 5.

    Which looks worse then Fire 4/Firaja.
