How 5.5 Gilded Mounts Vendors can save the Mog Station

It's almost always mounts of pets, both of which feel kinda meh to collect in this game. The overworld part where you get on your mount is so small, and your pet is not summoned in pretty much all instanced content (the majority of the game). On the other hand, I wish there was more glamour, like dyeable versions of some of the mogstations items. Or maybe, unlocking dyeable options for mogstation glams when you spend some more gil.

Personally I cannot wait to see more golden mount released. I know it will most likely not happen but a golden twintina mount would be awesome. For like 100 million

I believe adding items that are currently only available from the Mog Station to also be available from Luxury Traders for gil.

If it's 10 players. I'm betting the people who run the game and have access to the actual metrics have a better idea of what they want to bleed and from who.

Just saying, I think there would be more people with 5 mil to burn than 50 mil, I'd bet more than 10 for each person willing to blow 50.

I feel the the new Gilded Mount Vendors can save the Mog Station because of the stigma associated with buying items for real money by offering alternative ways to obtain the same items in game, allowing players to have options.

You are correct, however I feel I am being pretty blunt about wanting items off the Mog Station without paying real money for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way though and I am offering an idea for an alternative for the issue.

As for your other point of wanting it for "free", I have to say I disagree. I am not suggesting getting these items for "free" I am suggesting either paying real money on the Mog Station or large amounts of gil for the same item in game. Either option is not "free". With the Mog Sation you are spending real money, alternatively with game gil you are spending your time, effort and subscription fee for the same end result. One is just more instantly gratifying then the other. Plus I would have to add that most people would agree their time is very valuable to them and they do not consider it "free".

What stigma? It's 99% cosmetic and this is hardly a competitive game. I've never had one negative comment or interaction about any for cash item, emote, or mount I own.

If it was a new mount, then sure. If it was a reskin with a completely different soundtrack, perhaps. But a simple reskin? Not worth the 25-50m. The mounts mostly target the people who have a stupid amount of gill to where 25-50m gill is just 10% of their total gill.
