I'm honestly surprised that not many agree with the idea of adding Mog Station items to the Luxury Traders for large amounts of Gil.
I think that the Mog Station's prices are extremely high for the items they sell. The Chocobo Carriage Mount for example is $35.99 USD. I understand that these are vanity items and I understand some are account wide. The Shadowbringer Expansion is $39.99 USD for compassion. That's one mount costing almost as much as an Expansion filled with hours of content.
Mog Station are optional after all you don't have to buy anything there but on the other hand what keeps them from raising the prices higher next time? What happens when the next mount on the Mog Station is $40? How about $50? If we keep buying them then it shows that we are alright with the outrageous prices that are being offered.
If others don't like my idea of adding Mog Station items to Luxury Traders that's fine but I am just offering an alternative to create options for all of us. If we keeping buying overpriced Mog Station items they will keep making them and the prices just keep getting higher. As an example Emotes used to be between $2-3 USD now the newer ones are $7. Outfit Sets used to be $12 but are now $18.
As long as we are alright with these prices and keep buying things they prices will just keep going up. We as a community need to speak up that we are not alright with this and something needs to be done. I suggested adding things to the Luxury Traders as an alternative because I wanted us to have options. If you disagree and have a better idea that's fine, post it here for us to discuss.
Yes, it's a vanity items that no one is being forced to buy but at the same time I don't want to feel like I'm being ripped off either.
Your idea doesn't really solve what you claim to be an issue.I'm honestly surprised that not many agree with the idea of adding Mog Station items to the Luxury Traders for large amounts of Gil.

It is essentially the F2P monetization model to make a less convenient method (high gil cost, etc) to acquire in game while at the same time offer a more convenient real money alternative.
prices vary for emotes and what not because of the work involved in putting them into the game, not just for some money grubbing reason. (although it is possible that is also a reason). but mogstation money is the only money that 100% goes back into the game itself. everything else like subs/game purchases go into general square enix coffers for use in other things.
