Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I think one of the weirder parts of this thread is the simple fact that some of the most vocal supporters for the addition of female hrothgar are coming here to point out why male viera supposedly can't be added.

So it's all rather strange to me. Especially since I bet if people went to the female hrothgar thread to list reasons why they should not be added, it probably wouldn't be taken very well.

Otherwise Im not sure if Im worried or impressed I can cause such an Indirect callout.

And even if it will never be clear even if I try my hardest, Ill still say it again-and-again.
My argument isn't that Viera Cant be added. Its not up to me, or anybody else here.
I personally dont think that Male Viera should be put into XIV before their own main game. However, if done right, and not lazily, I might support it.

If anybody wants to make a case or give their take against Female Horthgar, please do.
This isn't a challenge, but me imploring you, it doesn't matter what others think; you have an opinion like everyone else, and you shouldn't be afraid of pushback, or encouraged by upvotes. If you have a thought to share, share it. Nobody should motivate you to speak, except yourself.

Are you...really surprised that coming into the “support male viera thread” and saying “I don’t think they should be added to the game” sparks debate...?

I really don’t think I can break it down any further for you why people took issue with your opinions and reasons for having them. Nobody took you to task over not wanting them to be lazy. You were asked why you think they’d suddenly be lazy with male viera enough to think that’s a valid reason to be concerned about their inclusion in the game. You also brought up that they’d have to take into account player characters, which they don’t. Do I really have to keep repeating your own points to you? It’s a pain on mobile.

You’re certainly entitled to share your opinion like anyone else here. Just please stop getting slack-jawed when people in a thread about wanting male viera as a playable race take issue with you giving flimsy reasons why they shouldn’t be, or caveats to their inclusion that were never an issue to begin with.

No, Im surprised that me asking for a non-lazy way to include Male Viera has gotten as much pushback as it does. And pretty confused how my main point is constantly ignored.
No, I didnt say they have to, the suggestion is the smallest thing of just making mention that Male Viera have joined the outside world. Then the player characters and NPCs running around wouldnt have the whole "rarity" inconsistency. And saying to just ignore it it doesnt matter is just lazy. Im asking for things to not be lazy...and you wanna fight me on that despite thinking the devs wont be lazy. Which...still makes no sense.

And I never once made an argument that Male Viera should NOT be in the game. I said I personally dont think they should be in the game.
I dont even think I once made the argument "Lore is the reason we cant have Male Viera" Not once. Reading this out load I know people will say its the same thing....
The difference to make here, is that I have never made an argument to explain why we CANT have Male Viera.
Never once made that argument. So Im pretty slacked jawed that people come at me arguing about something I never argued once.
