That was the point I was making with the meme in the thread he made about Male Viera needing to be tall, but tall has a very wonky definition to him. Would not take "They'll probably be the same height as f Viera, or can be a little taller" as a correct answer, as that made them "short".

yep even if viera follow the same dimorphism as other races (except au ra) they wouldn‘t be as tall as male elezen in my book - since female viera are shorter than female elezen. i think they would just be about male highlander - which i guess amnmaat still considers as too small? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I actually kind of love how they came out, and even more if they are similar height.

I had a headcanon that the reason people hadn't seen a male viera was because they only thought they hadn't seen one. The models have a similar build (athletic, lithe, with soft/smooth faces). It would fit my theory so well if they were a similar height as well, but doesn't hinge on it. Here all along, but people just misidentified them.

I don't know what kinds of eyes you have but male and female Viera are visually distinct. I would never, for the life of me mistake a male Viera with a female Viera. As a man I sure as hell wouldn't make that mistake.

That's my thought on it as well. Height doesn't really come into it, but they could easily be mistaken for women, at least in passing - and may even want to maintain that misconception for some reason.

People being the same height ≠ their bodies look the same. I don't know where you're both getting the idea that these bodies look the same even if they're the same height.
