    At this point, there really needs to be a test done. Party of non Blue Mages Vs party that includes Blue Mages. It's probably the only way to definitively compare them rather than all the speculating.

    Blue mages are pushing into the 5 digits regularly in SB.

    Black Mages in SB pushed into 5 digits 3 times total in all SB raiding.
