Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

So many people have already threatened to "cancel" their sub. I was literally making fun of it several pages back. Many of those people are playing more actively than me, and are female viera. So that's funny. It's really not that big of a deal.

To be expected, threats are usually fake outs or fear mongering on the internet.

Viera have always been around 80/20 female dominant species among other FF games, 12, and Tactics while the Male are extremely rare and very hostile to anyone that isn't them, as we know SE sticks to that system for 14.

They only really use the lore as a copout though, same could be said about female Hrothgar. They could add them both if they really wanted to, there just needs to be enough demand and a foreseeable profit. Just through Fantasia sales alone I could see it being a worthy investment, but I'm no big shot CEO either.

We just simple don't have them playable yet. They arn't genderlocked for any big reason other then they just didnt have time to make them.

I could believe Viera would be genderlocked...but Male Viera not being playable could have the same reason behind it as the Female Hrothgars; they just didnt have time.

I'd like to know how they get anything done then, because that's exactly how you develop a game. You throw money and people at something and it gets sent to the public for purchase. Pretty sure that's how businesses have worked for hundreds of years. Not a good excuse for them to toss at us. I didn't believe it then. Still don't believe it now.

My mindset was destroying their go-to reason for not doing them sooner if at all. They stayed loyal to FFXII and made viera female only. Hrothgar are just collateral because they needed a male only to "balance" out the lock.

If they just didn't have time to make the other genders then why would they put up so many other weak excuses instead of just being forward about it and just telling us that from the start?

And they already explained that they were trying to fulfil 2 requests as this may be the last chance to make new races. They didnt have the time and resources to make all 4. And it takes ALOT of time AND resources to make the races and the genders.

Then why did they use half-assed excuses to cover up why they didn't do male viera?

And yes, I'm aware tactics came before XII but I'm fairly confidant more people know about XII than the tactics spin-offs.

I'm also sorry for coming at you, but you're never going to clean up the mess that is going back on their word. They added missing genders for 2.0 and say they'll never do it again... only to do it again and twice no less! They have 2 choices: add the missing genders or continue to get chewed out at every turn about it until they do it or XIV shuts down.
