Now that I think about it, it's scary that soon we'll have job boosts to level 80..

Thankfully the people who level boost a job to then jump into DF with no idea how to do anything aren't all that common since the boost costs money, and why would you pay money just to get yelled at in a dungeon for being atrociously bad at your job?...Well, I guess some people might be into that.


The let's call it "barrier to entry" with a job that already starts at a high level without having to pay for it however is a lot lower.

I do remember getting quite a few gunbreakers in holminster who wouldn't have used their mitigation if it were the only thing on their hotbars.

Agreed. Completely anecdotal but I remember early ShB dungeons dreading getting a GNB because they seemed to be insanely squishy compared to the other tanks.
