Relatively large concern about new Healer: Sage

This is why I have always thought that the new jobs should be restricted until you have one job of its type to max level if they aren't going to make hall of the novice mandatory

another concern of mine- sage is literally going to play as a mish mash of pieces ripped from the other healers. Devs already confirmed its taken WHM's 2.0/3.0 identity of a self buffer. Astro's had noct sect ripped from it, fun and lore be damned. Yet still nothing on making shields stack, so when DF matches two shield healers together they're gonna be struggling again.

I have a sneaking suspicion SE's refusal to step out of their comfort zone entirely with a tech based healer means healer glamour is going to remain robes or overly feminine as well if that was the AF gear

I genuinely hope I'm wrong. But of all they showcasing is the basic heal, shield, nuke and aoe, it makes me worried what they haven't shown

You all know what is funny with this post every Healer sucks except White Mage since Astro you need to level to 50 and Have Heavenward to unlock. Yes it send you back to 30 but you need a Job at 50 first
Scholar You have to level to 30 to unlock But White Mage you start at level 1 So White Mage should walk in the Room going I'm the best and look at Astro and Scholar and go you can't beat me I'm the pro Healer.
Sage look up and Go I'm the highest. White Mage: Get behind me, No Behind the Astro Good I have 3 Healers that Suck compared to me.

This is How you all are Acting because that is how Healers have been release and playable Level 30 Scholar ,50 Astro ,70 Sage and only Conjuror/White Mage is Level 1

I think they're saying that White Mages should be saying the other three healers are worse than them, and Scholars should be saying AST and SGE are worse than them, and AST should be saying SGE is worse.

And that WHM is the best job because you can unlock it first.

Short version.

No one complains that Scholar and Astro didn't start at level 1.

Personally, this is a non-issue. They could start at level 1 or max level, the problem isn't where they start, it's who is controlling them.

What do jobs have to do with a player's ability to play a healer role? I don't think you even understand the point of this thread.
Besides, starting at lvl 30 you still mostly get newbie dungeons. On lvl 70 you can jump into some much higher level content like 8-man raids or 50/60/70 roulette and things might get messy.

But yeah, boosts exist. And we already constantly see people that never healed or tanked boost some job and jump into content. Man, I can't even describe how much it hurts when I see a WHM constantly casting Cure III thinking it's a better version of Cure II...

Okay everyone is saying that the people who play Sage will be bad at the Job of Healing since they start at Level 70.
So what you are saying is White Mage players are the Best Healers in Game since there were no breaks between 1 to 30.
Scholar are the Second Best after White Mage.
Astro the 3rd best Healers

Funny how none of you that have level 70 or 80 Healers are looking forward to playing Sage. Demand a 4th Healer, get it and Now it's going to Suck. Last Exp Where is our 4th Healer we Demand there be a 4th Healer. This Exp: it's going to Suck
