I think they're saying that White Mages should be saying the other three healers are worse than them, and Scholars should be saying AST and SGE are worse than them, and AST should be saying SGE is worse.

And that WHM is the best job because you can unlock it first.

Edit: Which upon further review is deeply hilarious, since they haven't capped a single healer.

This is How you all are Acting because that is how Healers have been release and playable Level 30 Scholar ,50 Astro ,70 Sage and only Conjuror/White Mage is Level 1
Now you can be mad but this is how things are and has been.

What do jobs have to do with a player's ability to play a healer role? I don't think you even understand the point of this thread.
Besides, starting at lvl 30 you still mostly get newbie dungeons. On lvl 70 you can jump into some much higher level content like 8-man raids or 50/60/70 roulette and things might get messy.

But yeah, boosts exist. And we already constantly see people that never healed or tanked boost some job and jump into content. Man, I can't even describe how much it hurts when I see a WHM constantly casting Cure III thinking it's a better version of Cure II...

Nobody is saying that everyone who will be playing Sage will be bad.
The concern is about those people that never played a healer before and simply don't know how to. Healing can be overwhelming when you're not used to it.
And we've already seen a million clear examples of people not knowing what they're doing after boosting a job to 70.

Now that I think about it, it's scary that soon we'll have job boosts to level 80..

Not only do I not see new healers charging headlong into stiff content if only because healers have their own version of tanxiety.
I don't think there would be some kind of harrowing surge of shitty sages because of this.
There might be bad healers, but I don't think this will contribute to that to any long term or significant degree.

But either way, what would SQEX do? Ask healers to prove that they're capable of performing their job before allowing them into content?
IIRC they've expressed they don't take to this idea. Someone asked Yoshi-P in an interview if they'll ever consider locking access to raids behind clearing it's training dummy, and he said no.

Short version.

No one complains that Scholar and Astro didn't start at level 1.

Personally, this is a non-issue. They could start at level 1 or max level, the problem isn't where they start, it's who is controlling them.

Someone could play a Summoner and know how to play a Sage. If you look at it another way The 4th Healer is a pet Job and The caster tells the Shards what to do the 4 shards do all the work.
