If they truly said, have high expectations.....I believe em.

They have to move units more than ever now, with how much money they lost making that Marvel title. I would not be shocked if this expansion had like, 4 or 5 jobs. I would not be shocked if it was the ToAU equivalent in 14; many regard that expansion as the best one. With the blow their fiances took with that title, they need the next expansion to be perhaps, the best one yet. They need to bring in new players, and keep the loyalist.

I would not be shocked if this one was a letdown, or if this expansion was the best one yet. Anything is fair game imo....

Yeah, this is where I am at too. Yoshida has always been careful with his choice of wording when it comes to announcements, fanfests and the like.
He's even gone so far as to tell us to temper our excitement and lower our expectations in the past, so if he is outright saying to have high expectations, then he means it.

People keep bringing up the Avengers but if you looked at the yearly earnings from their gacha games like Kingdom Hearts Unchained X + Dark Road, Brave Exvius, etc. etc. you'd realize that the hit is easily recoupable in at least a few months time as those games make them way more than they realistically should.
