    As for the WHM in plate argument... I agree with you, but mainly because of WHM's animations. They simply don't fit the aesthetic of a combat cleric in full heavy armor, too much floating and twirling in the air. You could easily make a healer in plate work if you made the animations more "grounded".

    Full plate is actually not that heavy because it's weight is distributed evenly, and there is a lot of movement going on in tank's animations.

    Also the deepshadow set got chainmail.
