After a short session yesterday to get my rank 10, I had 11 lockboxes.
9 of them gave Indigo Stars.
I hate that system with the passion of a thousand burning suns. It's just insulting at this point.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
I feel that... I would rather have lockboxes be rarer, but had a guaranteed decent reward in it.
But even at that, I managed to make a small fortune selling 6 of the 7 Gabriel mounts I could find in them, and I didn't actively farm those lockboxes, but yeah... getting so many indigo stars is horrible.

This is one of the reasons I think Anemos was the best Eureka. They showered you in boxes, so even though the droprate was bad you never felt like it was impossible to get the mount from it because you could easily try 100 more times.
