Nope, they definitely scale, day 1 those of us who got to rank 8+ early in the day were tackling the CE in small groups since that is all that were able to get up north. And since then I have been in a few that had limited ppl join and we did just fine.

Exactly, of which it isn't worthwhile content. You'll enjoy it for an hour but this is exactly the type of content that needs an anchor to keep it relevant.Hell no
One of the biggest complaints about Eureka was being forced to go there for the relic. Multiple paths was exactly what was asked for.
If Bozja is worthwhile content, it will be able to stand on its own feet without needing to prop up the numbers up by forcing people into it.
Having multiple ways to get the relic is fine but HW fates are indeed far too easy for level 80 weapons.

I personally wish I didn't need to have breathtaker or deep breathtaker for increased mountspeed if I want to get somewhere is all. I mostly been RPing a bit as a field medic while also trying to get the 'No Need For Triage III' achievement and the 'Kindness of Strangers V' achievement, and I will admit the whole sitting in base thing has been more preferable by using the aetheryte system than using a potion-slot to try and be more active in the field.
Last night was the first time I stepped back inside Bozja in about a week because I've been focused on getting relics for all my jobs. It's so easy to get them outside of Bozja that I feel like I don't really have a reason to be in there. But went last night to level SMN to 80. Almost there.
And I was rewarded with the red chocobo fight.
It sucked.

They're just wandering around Bozja minding their own business :'(
I need to colour my chocobo red now![]()

Can we buff the drop rate on Field Notes, please? I can live with getting 5 billion Magicked Prisms, but I feel like I'll see the heat death of the universe before I get Dyunbu to drop her notes.
But the Red Chocobo jumps into a fight between the Resistance and Daguza (I think) specifically to attack you both.
Finally got round to clearing Castrum, wasn't as bad as I feared at all. WAR with Deep Martialist (Nascent Flash is so good), Cure IV and Raise was the way to go for me. Plenty of dps for the dps checks, very hard to kill and good support. I'd bring it over a dps anytime until I know the mechanics perfectly.
Overall Bozja's been a good experience. Story was decent, Castrum was fun, CE's were a challenge, far less tedious than Eureka, nice rewards. I enjoyed it.
There's still a bit to polish though. I don't see much point in Castrum after the first few runs, +7 Haste from a full Bozja set is nowhere near as impactful as Eurekas Elemental bonus. Relics are still too easy to get from HW Fates compared to Bozja giving even less reason to go in there long term. 1v1's are wasted potential, great content that you barely get to try. They need to stop with fireworks, it's basically a 66% chance of an empty chest. Some FATE's have really wonky scaling and die in under 60 seconds, others take 10 mins+ (one time I watched NPC's actually clear a FATE alone in under 2 minutes. A few of the Essences are tuned badly, Essence of the Irregular being unusable for example. But it was nice to see them adjust the Castrum registration, so it feels like they're doing their best with feedback.

Adding more to my experience since I'm now rank 14 and done everything except duels.
- Catrum was quite fun and I really enjoyed it, but I will agree with the other opinions that the mettle loss is a bit much for some people.
- Glad to see the timer getting extended to queue for Castrum. It was definitely too short.
- When a group of people do Catrum it seriously kills the instance outside when other people are trying to do critical engagements and skirmishes. Most of the time my friends and I just leave to find a new instance because there arent people playing outside of castrum.
- Still feeling the scaling issue I mentioned earlier. Sometimes 4 people melt skirmishes, and sometimes 4 people can't even finish a skirmish. It's really frustrating though as I feel like eureka notorious monsters had this pretty spot on. Not sure if it's from afk or people doing castrum, but please fix it. Really runs the experience.
- Leveling alt jobs feels great. You nailed this part.
That's all I can think to add for now.
I'm having fun in Bozja, but my suggestions are:
1) Give mettle for clearing Castrum and allow for Cluster & Memory drops.
Currently I'm only rank 11, and until I'm Rank 15, the 30 minutes or so spent in Castrum would be better spent out in the instance gaining mettle and the odd cluster/memory. Especially as some of the stronger abilities are gated by having a higher resistance rank to appraise.
2) Allow for jobs to be changed briefly before a CE starts
Currently I've had a few situations where a CE has had an glut of healers & tanks. Like one party has 3 tanks 4 healers and a single DPS. It'd be great if there was a brief window where once we formed a full party we could switch jobs to create a better balance.
3) Increase the memory drop rate.
It's pretty crazy that I'm incentivized to spend more time out during HW fates to get memories rather than doing things inside Bozja. I get that this is a mechanism to allow people to get these relics in future expansions once Bozja has died down, but for now the drop rate is crazy. The Gold HW Fate = 100% Drop should be set in a later patch, not right from the word go. It should be set so that getting a gold in a skirmish is a guaranteed memory, because again, I've got no point to be doing skirmishes.
