Toxic WHM Glare spammers

With toolkit what WHM have right now, healing its easy from even 5%. Just press your CD as tanks (what i think you dont use ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) and do your job. Untill you not dead - everything is fine.

Please, be kind and re-read my message before starting a personal attack, like I don't use my skills. And everything will be fine, you will understand what I'm talking about. Or do you think that I should heal everyone on WAR? I can do it. But for what?

Are they, like the OP, sitting there going "wth this AST doesn't heal raidwides and the tank keeps dipping below 50%, I'm doing everything here!"

Wrong. As SCH I prefer to let my tank below 50% while I'm freely off-dpsing, except when they gets hit by spike damage. Do you know why? Excog.

If in raid i see, how other healer hardly heal (even when it's not needed (yeah, hello scripted fights)) i just gonna full damage. Because why not? For overheal, so my MP gonna flew off with other healer MP? Btw, almost all battles can be solohealed.

If you want to do "full damage", que as a DPS. Why not? Collecting glams, quick pop and bonuses prevent you from doing this?

Did you ask your co-healer if they wants to solo heal? Why they have to heal all? Because you decided so? What happens if they stop healing the whole group and you? What if they let you and the tank die? What if they is a beginner? Not a single wipe, because unlike you, your co-heal still has a responsibility I think. Or they just love challenges. But I don't come for challenges, I want a quick and smooth run. If you at least give regen and bubble, that's good. But I'm talking about those who spam Glare and that's all.

Look, in that game you have 2 things - eyes and brains. If you use that, you can see WHAT your co-healer doing. WHM have a plenty amount of tools for fast heal entire party to full from 1-5%. So as i say - if co-healer healing party to full after every boss small aoe from start - i let him do that and "full damage mod on". If he dies - some lilies, maybe 1 medica 2 and rez him. Party don't need more.
And yes, healing not Ultimate or last savage floor =/= challenge.

Tell me about it. Try being a WHM main since 2014 and seeing your class become the flavor of the month for all the green dps. With a good WHM, you won't even care or notice if we dps because we're also maintaining the party health without much effort. I've had people actually complain in chat because they saw I was a WHM. Our reputation is that bad right now thanks to these type of people.

You know, I am happy when I have a good WHM in a party or in a raid. It is as if you flew a comet through all barriers. And in good hands, this job really shines. But, unfortunately, I see more and more nightmarish players. Like full dpsing Aero II/ Stone II conjurers in 50's raids etc.

That's the problem, though. There isn't healer mode and dps mode. We dps when healing isn't needed. Some have just taken it to the extreme and try to claim that you don't need healing so long as you have 1 HP or you shouldn't have stood in x, blah blah blah. It's all excuses to not do the main job because you don't really want to support your party and just want fast queue times. And I don't mean keep parties at 100%. But treat your party like people. Don't make them stress about their health and survival. Show them that you have their back so they can confidently do their jobs in the group, too.

If my co-healer does nothing, then I will have to heal because I have eyes and brains. Just like in the cases of tank wars, I just turn off the stance so that some fool does not turn the boss, pouring damage on the group. It’s probably very good to parasitize on people like me and then say that we are whining.

The thing is, you don't know if other healer wants to soloheal or if they just don't trust you to do your job. People not putting a slightest effort in assuring others they don't need to work they axes off for the group not to die is one of the reasons for this. The amount of "oh god, it's another one of these days of me solohealing, isn't it?" and "great, I'm gonna live on 5% all the time, ain't I?" is high. I saw enough entitled so called "healers" leaving tanks to die and then complaining about them not popping DCDs, despite tanks performing perfectly, I just don't trust White Mages I don't personally know anymore. I stopped allowing WHMs joining my PF groups cuz of all the Glaremages spamming 1 button with Assize on some special completely random occasion when other healers forced to use everything in their kit to prevent people from wipes on healchecks. Yes, that bad.

If person dies to avoidable aoe - its their fault, not healer. If person not want solohealing - he can say it. Right now, in THAT GAME (i think we play different games, dunno) if you not at last savage floor/ultimate, you almost don't need to heal with any GCD outside lilies. Some Affiatus Rapture + Tetra + Spam Assize is enought for heal almost every fight. So why need some other with that toolkit + co-healer?

Explain how the average DF can fail outside of these instances. I'll tell you, healers need even less responsibility. RDM was a godsend and more DPS need a res like ability if they want. A single, or several tanks DEFINITELY need a res ability. And more self sustainability, in case, you know they arent turning AOEs onto the party and risking them. Your healing output should be limitied, and all DPS should have an ability to self sustain as well for these moments theyre locked at 1 hp as you said, for raiding purposes or such. Maybe, perhaps its about time that you guys can be a boon. but not so much the end all be all of every raid/extreme trial/alliance/ or instance to clearing. Its rather sick that if both healers die by the 1 hp rule, and walking into aoes, that the entire run is a failure, because only 2/10 dps can raise, and no tanks have that ability currently. You make an incredibly good case, as to why balance and raid utility shouldnt be limited by dps alone, but should absolutely be part of the conversation.
