What you have said is what we and many others have said however it is better to let it loose as a normal job where anyone can queue as anything allowing them to even queue as a Blue Mage making life a lot more easier for new players who are interested in Blue Mage. Since you can still get a 100% guarantee spell learn regardless of party composition, with Blue Mage being a Limited Job it really can't queue with anyone or anything. If it could queue then it would be a normal job at that point rendering the Limited Job system pointless and useless since it didn't contribute anything other than capping the Blue Mage's level and preventing it form participating in Duty Finder.

Not just that we already have a Blue Mage Log Weekly Target and Masked Carnival and rarely anyone does it, I believe the Blue Mage Log Weekly Target was meant to do what you mention but failed as people tend to rush it over like try to clear all of the log quickly and it can be finished under 3 days with the dungeon as for the raids, with the 1-2 week hype alliance raid will be the first thing everyone wants to clear as soon as possible and be done with it. Which then leads to a content desert where there is literally nothing to do other than killing mobs for nothing and even if you want to run a dungeon people as a Blue Mage while others can be anything, most of the time they will be raiding, crafting, gathering; anything that let's them earn gil or helps with building their ideal gear set; Role-playing cafes and restaurants in housing wards or playing a different game and unsubscribe to FFXIV.

So in all honesty it is far better to rely on a roulette system that has existed, adding more can make a variety however with our current roulette almost anything is a guarantee clear whereas if we do one specifically for Limited Job the chances of clearing can be slim depending on how well versed the person is and not just that with the spell book you only can easily obtain 9 spells (2 of which include the suicide spells). Also people may or may not have time for the game, I mean there is a reason why we have EX, Max Cap Dungeons (80), Old Dungeon (50/60/70), Leveling, Trials, MSQ, Guidlhests and mentor roulette (with not big rewards). Plus it takes on average 15-30 minutes to clear a dungeon depending on how fast and capable your party is (Hopefully 15 minutes). Only including 5 (Not Guildhests, MSQ or Mentor) that averages out between 75mins - 150 minutes (1hr 15mins - 2hrs 30mins) and that is not including queuing time (DPS is long, Tank and Heal are short fast ques). People working from 9 - 5 have at least enough time to do the essential things for leveling and collecting certain in game currency before they do something else, the game is focused on daily and weekly objectives adding more will just discourage some and not just that but if we add in a limited job roulette people are sure to ignore it because what if the other people don't have white wind or pom cure or angel whisper (Only obtainable through completing Masked Carnival), what if they aren't capable of playing blue mage, what if they don't have Aetherial Mimicry. There are so many risks with an all Blue Mage party especially as a random. It is better as a normal job cause at the first 60 levels it can slowly learn the spells from the monsters since in a synced party you can't one shot a boss, you can kill it quickly but there is enough time for a Blue Mage to learn its spell.
