Because despite it starting out as a Troll Thread, a legit discussion has started, elevating it from a Troll Thread to a normal one.

He wants people to be annoyed and riled up, so stop giving him what he wants. What he doesn't want is these threads to fall into normalcy. And now, everyone complaining disrupts the Thread more than the bait opening post.

It's a topic that can spark an interesting discussion. There have been vague hints, so why not discuss in which ways those hints can be interpreted and what seems likely? This is general discussion after all.

I think it’s been established they do have genders. Venat, I believe is female. That suggests that they procreate in a natural way. I don’t think they are just created. Although if they were, and it turns out the Ancients were actually concepts, and the Sound that caused the Final Days was the concept going wrong in some way, that could be super interesting.

The story Tales from the Shadows story Through his eyes established that the ancients were not creations. Emet himself was able to see souls and he had a deep connection to the underworld. It was also stated in that same story that things that were created via their creation magic would not contain a soul. It was only things that were made naturally that were gifted a soul via the earth.

Then there was the fact that while everyone was trying to repair the elevator in Kolusia, Emet stated that they had friends, family and loved ones back in Amarout. So yeah they procreated and most likely via sex due to them having souls.

They were a form of Humanity, they weren't going to tell us what they did in bed, nor would we need it. They had male and female, they had children, that is all we need to know.

Did we definitely get a pronoun reference for Venat? I think people were assuming female based on a character of the same name in a previous FF game but it wasn't actually stated here.

I think it's due to the voice sounding female for Venat as well as now Hydaelyn being called Mother and her that a lot of us see and think Venat was female
